In 2017, Josh co-chaired the Rock for Research event for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. "We raised a ton of money for the hospital"

Aside from sitting on the Board of Governors for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Josh also sits on the board of The Guardians for the Los Angeles Jewish Home. The Jewish Home supports elderly people who can not take care of themselves because of financial hardship.

In 2013 the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust honored Josh with the Next Generation Leadership Award.
