The Josh Flagg and Bobby Boyd Family Foundation supports many different causes especially
locally in Los Angeles.
In 2017 Bobby and Josh co-chaired the Rock for Research event for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. “We raised a ton of money for the hospital and put on a fabulous event with Lindsey Stirling. We had 1,000 people show up at the event and it was one of the hospitals most important fundraising events.”
Aside from sitting on the Board of Governors for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Josh also sits on the board of The Guardians for the Los Angeles Jewish Home. The Jewish Home supports elderly people who can not take care of themselves because of financial hardship.
In 2013 the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust honored Josh with the Next Generation Leadership Award.
“My grandparents and parents instilled in me at a very young age that giving back to the community is the most important thing you can do if you’re privileged enough to do that, not only financially, but privileged as a human being that you would want to help other people with your time.”
Josh’s family has been involved in several charities such as the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, City of Hope, American Jewish University, Sinai Temple, Mount Sinai Memorial Park, Vista Del Mar and Cedars-Sinai.
