s the daughter of one of Los Angeles’ premier residential contractors and a descendant of one of Los Angeles’ founding families, Shane McCoy Fermelia has a unique and natural understanding of the luxury real estate market in Southern California. “As a native Angeleno, there isn’t a neighborhood in this city that I don’t know or understand—there is a place in this magical city for each lifestyle-vision and architectural sensibility.”
Following her graduation from Connecticut College, Shane started in the iconic mail room at William Morris, “Agency experience is key to learning how to get things done,” she says. Editorial posts at magazines, among them Vanity Fair and Distinction Magazine, led to her Senior Associate Editor position at Architectural Digest, where she honed her architectural-eye and further developed her love of writing, design, architecture and photography. A Real Estate career was a true culmination of all of her expertise and working with top Beverly Hills Real Estate agent and star of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing, Josh Flagg, was a natural extension of their friendship and shared love of local history and Real Estate.
“Every aspect of a Real Estate transaction uses a skill I’ve developed and enjoy applying—from my dedication to my clients, to marketing a property, to understanding and expressing what makes a property unique and what can easily (or not) be changed—I love what I do for my clients.” Shane is known for her discretion, loyalty and unwavering advocacy for her clients.
Shane enjoys the wide-open spaces of her family’s ranch in Simi Valley, vintage car rallies, construction and design, and being a Mom. She lives with her husband, two sons, and their rescue pup in Beverly Hills.
